What would lead Poles to change their jobs? The results of the survey for “Wprost” give food for thought

Over 40 percent Poles indicated that a higher salary would prompt them to change their jobs in 2025 – according to the SW Research survey for “Wprost”.

According to data from the Central Statistical Office (CSO), the average gross salary in the national economy in April 2024 was exactly PLN 8323 gross. In turn, according to forecasts for 2025, the so -called The “national average” may increase to PLN 8,673 gross. This is of course a average salary, because millions of Polish women and Poles earn much less, a large part receives a monthly payment in the “lowest national” area.

It is worth noting that the minimum salary has increased in recent years and is currently PLN 4,666 gross. However, the cost of living is also gradually increasing, so many of us still have to head strongly to survive “from the first to the first”. It often happens that for hard work the salary is not adequate at all.

Why do Poles want to change jobs?

What would be the main reason for you to change your job in 2025? This question was answered by participants of the SW Research survey for “Wprost”. Among almost every group of respondents, the answer “higher salary” prevailed (a total of 40.4 percent of respondents). Better benefits and working conditions would tempt 11.3 percent of respondents. The possibility of remote work. or flexible working time was chosen by 9.7 percent.

Dissatisfaction with organizational culture or work atmosphere – 7.8 percent respondents. Others – 4 percent, while “I don’t know” answered 15.3 percent. respondents.
