Weekly review of exchange rates. How much dollar, euro, pound and frank?
The dollar down, the euro weakened, and Frank and the pound caused significant declines. This was what the turn of September and October on the currency market according to NBP data looked like.
The beginning of October did not start best for the pound of Szterling and the Swiss franc, which lost their strong position and weakened against the zloty. Dollar and euro also scored declines.
As a result, all four main currencies finished the week in the minus. Compared to the end of September, it can be seen that the zloty gradually gained strength, especially against European currencies.
Currency courses – Analysis of the week
American dollar (USD) He started a week on Monday from PLN 3.6411, and on Friday he was PLN 3.6253. This means a decrease by 1.58 gr. The change is small, indicates the weakening of the dollar towards the zloty this week.
Euro (EUR) On Monday it cost PLN 4.2688, and on Friday it fell to PLN 4.2559. This is a 1.29 grotide discount, which shows a slight decrease in the value of the common currency towards the zloty.
Frank Swiss (CHF) He started a week from PLN 4,5739 and ended at PLN 4,5527. This means a decrease by 2.12 groszy and makes Frank one of the weakest currencies this week.
Pound sterling (GBP) On Monday it cost PLN 4.8920, and on Friday it fell to PLN 4.8784. This is a decrease of 1.36 gr, which confirms that the British currency was included in the group of the weaker during this period. Thus, the pound is moving more and more from the psychological limit of PLN 5.
