Weekly review of exchange rates. How much dollar, euro, pound and frank?

Analiza rynku walut w mijającym tygodniu

The dollar makes up for losses, the euro is getting stronger, Frank is gently increasing, and the pound shines again. Here is a summary of the week on the currency market based on NBP data.

The first week of June brought relative peace on the currency market, but it was not without subtle moves. All four main currencies ended a week higher than they began, although the dynamics was small. The dollar and pound are distinguished by a systematic growth, euro retains the direction, and Frank confirms its position of a stable marina. T

Trends are muted, but noticeable. Conclusions? The currencies are slightly increased, but the market is clearly waiting for stronger impulses – both from monetary policy and from the geopolitical scene.

Currency courses – Analysis of the week

American dollar (USD) He started a week at PLN 3.73, and then gained one penny every day: PLN 3.74 (Tuesday), PLN 3.75 (Wednesday and Thursday) to reach PLN 3.76 on Friday. It is five days of growth, although small – without jumping and a speculative return to the former form. Despite this, the trend is legible – the dollar is slowly recovering strength against the zloty, which can be a reflection of global appetite to the dollar as a “safe haven”.

Euro (EUR) Throughout the week it moved in a narrow range: from PLN 4.26 on Monday to 4.29 PLN on Friday. The height was systematic, but very mild – one penny a day. There is a lack of a decisive impulse, but the common currency managed to reach a higher level.

Frank Swiss (CHF) He started a week from 4.56 PLN (Monday), he had minor volatility in the middle of the week – 4.57 PLN on Tuesday and Thursday, 4.56 PLN on Wednesday – and finished again at 4.57 PLN on Friday. Fluctuations within one penny indicate a lack of pressure from investors. Frank remains stable.

Pound sterling (GBP) He started this week from the level of 5.05 PLN (Monday), and then successively increased: 5.06 PLN (Tuesday), 5.08 PLN (Wednesday), up to 5.09 PLN (Thursday and Friday). After prior correction in recent weeks, the British currency slowly returns to its strong position.
