Weekly overview of exchange rates. How much was the dollar, euro, pound and franc?
The dollar is getting weaker, the franc and the pound are down, the euro is stable. This is what the week looked like on the currency market.
The first week of November was marked by the strengthening of the zloty against all major currencies. According to the National Bank of Poland (NBP) quotations, the US dollar (USD) lost the most and fell below the level of PLN 3.70. The Swiss franc (CHF) and the pound sterling (GBP) were also slightly weaker, while the euro (EUR) remained within a narrow range of fluctuations, with only a cosmetic change.
Currency rates – weekly analysis (November 3–7, 2025)
US Dollar (USD) started the week on Monday from PLN 3.6933, and on Friday it amounted to PLN 3.6818. This means that the dollar became the “king of declines” in the first week of November.
Euro (EUR) on Monday it was PLN 4.2527, and on Friday it was PLN 4.2483. Although this is a small change – 0.44 groszy – it confirms the symbolic strengthening of the zloty against the common currency.
Swiss franc (CHF) started the week at PLN 4.5753 and ended at PLN 4.5556. This indicates a slight weakening of the franc and an increase in the strength of the zloty against the “safe haven”.
Pound sterling (GBP) on Monday it was PLN 4.8475, and on Friday it was PLN 4.8227. Although this discount confirms a slight weakening of the British currency, the pound is still far from reaching the level of PLN 5.
