Weekly overview of exchange rates. How much was the dollar, euro, pound and franc?
The dollar is up slightly, the euro and franc are down slightly, and the pound has weakened. This is what the week looked like on the currency market according to NBP data.
The past week brought minor changes on the currency market. The zloty strengthened against the pound, while the US dollar recorded a minimal increase. The euro and franc recorded slight declines. The largest exchange rate fluctuations occurred in the case of the pound, and other currencies moved in a narrow price range.
The “king of the week” turned out to be the dollar, which was the only main currency to record an increase in the analyzed period.
Currency rates – weekly analysis (October 20–24, 2025)
US Dollar (USD) started the week on Monday from PLN 3.6349, and on Friday it amounted to PLN 3.6481. This is a minimal increase of +1.32 groszy, indicating a stable dollar exchange rate against the Polish zloty.
Euro (EUR) on Monday it was PLN 4.2396, and on Friday it was PLN 4.2353. The exchange rate decreased by -0.43 groszy, which means a practically stable value of the euro with a slight tendency to weaken.
Swiss franc (CHF) started the week at PLN 4.5866 and ended at PLN 4.5839. This is a slight decrease of -0.27 groszy, indicating a minimal weakening of the franc against the zloty.
Pound sterling (GBP) on Monday cost PLN 4.8810, and on Friday it amounted to PLN 4.8589. This is a decrease of -2.21 groszy, confirming a slight weakening of the British currency, which still remains below the psychological limit of PLN 5.
