We tested an amusement park near Warsaw. Over 25 attractions for children

Warsaw offers many places where you can spend time with your family. Places where you can combine movement, fun and discovering new places are becoming more and more popular. Majaland Warszawa, located just outside Warsaw, may be an interesting idea for families with children. This is an interesting proposition for those who actively want to spend time among fairy-tale characters.

Majaland Warsaw

Majaland amusement park is one of three parks owned by the Dutch company Momentum Leisure. The others are located in Kownaty and Gdańsk. Currently, the fourth amusement park in Gliwice is under construction. Its name has not been revealed yet, but it will certainly refer to a fairy tale character. The new investment will cost almost EUR 50 million.

Majaland amusement park is located in Góraszka, just outside Warsaw. Guests have access to a huge paid parking lot with 4 charging stations for electric cars.

25 attractions in Majaland

Visitors can enjoy 25 attractions located indoors and outdoors. It is impossible to list and describe all the attractions. Inside the hall, children can enjoy, among others: a Viking rollercoaster, a flying simulator, a frog carousel, a huge ball pool, a play forest, a large slide, Viking boats, a car track, a butterfly carousel and a large longship.

Outside, you can have fun in the water zone, use the airplane or firefighter carousel and the car town created in cooperation with the Toyota brand.

The best attractions in Majaland

We visited all available attractions, both inside and outside. We liked the most: Viking Rollercoaster, Flying School, Sky Fly and Butterfly Carousel.

• Viking rollercoaster is one of the most exciting attractions in Majaland – the roller coaster takes guests on an adrenaline-filled journey through the land of the legendary warriors of the north.
• Flying School is a unique simulator that allows you to fulfill your dreams of sky travel. Here you can decide for yourself how high you want to fly.
• SkyFly is a spectacular aerial carousel that carries emotions high above Majaland Park. Everyone can decide for themselves how many spinning moves they will make. The turnover record is 56 and it is not easy to achieve it.
• Butterfly Carousel it is one of the most beautiful and picturesque attractions for children. It was designed for children who are just starting their adventure with the amusement park – it delights with colors, delicate movement and the atmosphere of an enchanted garden.

There is also a children’s theater in Majaland. We will meet such characters as Maja the Bee, Gucio, Filip, Papa Smurf, Smurfette and Chase from Paw Patrol. Characters known from fairy tales dance, sing and play with children. They also walk around the park, so you can take photos with them.

What to eat in Majaland?

There are food stations both inside and outside the park that you can use at any time. The menu is not very long, but both adults and children will certainly find something for themselves. From standard fries and nuggets to healthy steamed vegetables. There are also plenty of cold and hot drinks. A big advantage is the ability to use microwave ovens, which are available to guests in the catering area.

We checked it ourselves

Majaland is open every day from 10:00 to 17:00. In the morning there is the lowest occupancy and we can visit all attractions without standing in queues. It gets busier after 12:00, but the large park area effectively accommodates the large number of guests. The park includes, among others: a cloakroom with lockers, a toy shop, a restaurant, a cafe and a first aid point. The safety of each machine is ensured by technicians who test the equipment every morning and operators who control the devices.

At each attraction there is a sign that measures participants and determines whether they can participate in the fun. Each time the child’s height is checked by device operators. If you want to use all the attractions, including the water park, remember to take a swimsuit.

You can also organize a birthday party for a child in Majaland, just book the date in advance. Three events can take place at the same time.

How parents rate Majaland

We asked Mrs. Agnieszka, mother of 5-year-old Jakub and one-year-old Jagoda, about her impressions from the visit:

“We live in Warsaw’s Mokotów district, so it wasn’t far to Góraszki. Our son enjoys all the attractions. He is crazy about the Viking Rollercoaster. My daughter is much younger, so she went to the carousel and the playground with me. I was positively surprised by the availability of microwave ovens to heat up your own food. We like it here very much and we will probably come back someday.”

How much do tickets cost in Majaland

The Majaland ticket price list stands out from others because tickets are divided according to the participant’s height. Children who are shorter than 85 cm pay only PLN 1 for the ticket. A ticket for a person over 85 cm costs PLN 119. Very often you can get a discount of up to PLN 50 for the second ticket. There are also discounted tickets for pregnant women, seniors and people with certified disabilities. The fee for parking your car all day is PLN 20.

What is very important, from the moment of purchase, the ticket is valid for 3 months. If our plans change at the last minute, nothing is lost. We can go to Majaland another time.

Before your planned visit, it is best to check the calendar available on the website. There are closed events that prevent other guests from participating. All information is constantly updated.
