Viaplay was to disappear from Poland. Something unexpected happened!

All thanks to the cooperation of Megogo with Viaplay Content Distribution, which was officially announced on May 19, 2025.

VIAPLAY Movies and series. New offer

According to the concluded agreement, from June 30 this year. A new subscription package “VIAPLAY Movies and Series” will appear on the Megogo platform in Poland. The offer enables access to a wide catalog of VAPLAY production, including Popular Scandinavian detective stories, psychological dramas, youth series, documents and feature films.

VIAPLAY continues operating in the new distribution formula

Although the VIAPLAY Group has previously announced the withdrawal of the service from Poland in 2025, cooperation with Megogo will allow further use of the content of VIAPLAY. The new distribution model will provide access to the content of both current Subscribers of Viaplay Medium and Viaplay Total, as well as new customers of the Megogo platform.

A rich VAPLAY content library on Megogo

In the new package, viewers will find such productions as “stroke” with Jacek Monday, Danish drama “Tell me dad”, thriller “Curse”, series “Threesome”, “Bullshit” and the crime story “Taelgia”. Soon there will also be new products such as the documentary “Woman from the Bunker” and the film “Seasons”.

In addition, the offer includes known and liked titles: “Murderyrs”, “Iwona Wieczorek”, “Trom”, “Bridge over the Sund”, “Penoza”, “Swat”, “The Good Doctor” and “NCis: Hawaii”.

VIAPLAY Content Distribution develops global presence

VIAPLAY Content Distribution, the unit responsible for selling the content and development of VIAPLAY SELECT packages and VIAPLAY Movies and series, also operates on other international markets, including in the USA, Canada, Germany and Great Britain.

The new strategy is focused on the presence of Nordic markets and the Netherlands, but thanks to cooperation with Megogo, Polish viewers will still be able to use the high -quality VIAPLAY content.
