This park near Warsaw can be an interesting destination for a trip with a group of friends or children. Although you won’t find any lakes here, the climate and proximity to the river will make you feel a bit like in Masuria. The Wkra Valley Park is located at the promenade in Pomiechówek (at Nasielska Street) and was created with the assistance of foresters. The aim was to integrate it into the natural landscape of the Pomiechów forests and the Wkra valley, fully respecting the requirements of the Habitats Directive. The 10-hectare area covers riparian forests in the river’s floodplains, where as many as 127 species of birds live.
