Urgent announcement from ZUS regarding 800 plus. “Last Call”

– This is the last call. By tomorrow, submit an application for childcare benefits for the new period 2026/2027 to get PLN 800+ also for June – appeals the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) in a statement issued on Monday.

800 plus. When will the money be gone?

If parents or guardians do not submit an application for 800 plus by June 30, i.e. today, they will not receive money for June. – A parent who submits an application after June 30 will receive the benefit only from the month of submission. This means that if the form reaches ZUS in July, the right to PLN 800 plus will be available from July, i.e. without any compensation for June. An exception applies to parents of newborn children. In their case, they have three months to submit the documents from the date of the child’s birth – explains ZUS.

Let us remind you that applications for 800 plus under the new benefit period (which started at the beginning of June) can be submitted from February. People who submitted documents by the end of April continued to receive benefits.

The latest data presented by ZUS show that so far 4.2 million applications have been submitted for 6.2 million children. Meanwhile, as reported by “Wprost” Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Policy, currently approximately 6.7 million children are entitled to receive 800 plus. This means that the vast majority of parents and guardians have already submitted an application for PLN 800 plus for the new benefit period.

Applications for 800 plus can only be submitted electronically, via: the mZUS application, the eZUS portal, electronic banking or the Emp@tia portal.

The new 800 plus benefit period will last until May 31, 2027. Everything indicates that next year you will no longer have to remember to submit an application for 800 plus for the new settlement period. The Ministry of Family is working on regulations under which the right to 800 plus will be extended annually on the basis of data available to ZUS. According to the assumptions, the parent or guardian will still have to submit an application, but only for the first time for a given child.
