So far, applications have been submitted for 3.9 million children. It is estimated that approximately 8 million people in Poland are entitled to 800 plus. This means that almost half of those eligible have already sent the documents. – Parents have already submitted applications for 800+ for approximately 3.9 million children. Get over it too! It’s just a moment – ZUS emphasizes.
Applications for 800 plus can only be submitted electronically by parents and guardians via: the Emp@tia information and service portal, the PUE ZUS platform, the mZUS application or electronic banking.
April 1 will mark 10 years since the introduction of 500 plus in Poland. Initially, the funds were available only for the second and subsequent children, in mid-2019 the program was also extended to the first child. The benefit was indexed to PLN 800 at the beginning of 2024. Recently, the proposal of Jagiellonian Club experts to replace the benefit with a one-off payment of PLN 200,000 has gained much publicity. A survey by SW Research for “Wprost” shows that Poles are skeptical about this idea. To the question: “Do you support the idea of replacing PLN 800 plus payments with a one-time payment of PLN 200,000?” as much as 58.2 percent respondents answered “no”. Every fifth respondent (19.1%) has the opposite opinion, and 22.7% has no opinion on this matter.
