Unplanned plane landing in Modlin. Scandalous incident on board

The stopover took place at an airport near Warsaw. An aggressive passenger was on board the flight from London to Kaunas – a Lithuanian citizen ended his journey at the airport in Modlin, where he was detained by the services.
Border Guard Captain Dagmara Bielec, spokeswoman for the Commander of the Nadwiślański Border Guard Unit, the aggressive passenger used vulgarities and did not follow the instructions of the plane crew. Due to his behavior, the captain of the plane decided that an unplanned stopover was necessary.
The Lithuanian could also have been under the influence of alcohol. He could have posed a threat to fellow passengers, he was vulgar towards them. After landing at Modlin airport, officers from the Special Intervention Team from the Warsaw-Modlin Border Guard Station entered the plane.
They ordered the man to leave the plane, but he did not listen. The officers had to use direct coercion against him, as reported by Polsat News, “in the form of handcuffs and restraints”. Additionally, while the 45-year-old was being led off the plane, the man insulted the officers and continued to be aggressive and vulgar towards them.
Lithuanian heard the charges
Due to his condition, the man was taken to the Emergency Department of the hospital in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki. There he was examined by a doctor and transported to the local police station.
Yesterday he heard the charges. He was accused of insulting Border Guard officers during and in connection with the performance of their official duties. For this, the man could go to prison, he faces a sentence of up to a year behind bars. He did not admit to the acts he was accused of and refused to provide explanations.
He received a ticket and was released.
