The local company ScotRail, which offers public train connections throughout the region, offers a family ticket for only £50. This means that Poles will spend about PLN 245 on traveling there.

The action of the ScotRail carrier is intended to be a response to regularly rising train ticket prices in Great Britain. This type of traveling is becoming more and more of a luxury in this country and not everyone can afford it. The promotion is intended to help families during the school holidays, which are currently underway there. However, not only residents but also tourists will benefit.
As part of the promotion, you can buy a family ticket ScotRail Family Pass for unlimited travel in Scotland. However, the action is only important between October 13 and 20ah, so for a week. The pass allows for unlimited train travel for up to two adults and four children. All this for seven consecutive days of the week, starting from any day within the above-mentioned dates.
“The Family Pass has been designed to help families enjoy time away from home together over the school holidays,” said Joanne Maguire, managing director of ScotRail.

Family pass in ScotRail is available for purchase until October 20, 2025 at the ticket counter at every station with service and from a train employee if there is no ticket counter. This means that tourists will only be offered seats upon arrival in Scotland and will not be able to book online. The carrier’s website does not contain any information about restrictions for people from other countries.
