The District Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw provided new information on the F-16 disaster in Radom.
On Thursday (August 28), just before the Air Show 2025 air shows, which were to take place on the last holiday weekend in Radom (Masovian Voivodeship), a shocking accident occurred.
A multi -purpose aircraft, at the controls of which the leader of the Tiger Demo Team (Air Force show group) sat, suddenly fell to the ground and stood on fire. Unfortunately – Major Maciej “Slab” of Krakow residents died on the spot.
Yesterday investigators from Warsaw reported that at the scene of the disaster a personal camera of the late pilot was found and secured. The RMF FM radio station informed about it. Now prosecutor Antoni Skiba, spokesman for the District Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw, revealed data that speak of the scale of the accident in Radom.

Prok. Skiba admitted that the investigators initially estimated that “the remains of a broken plane are in the area of about 20 hectares.” This was soon verified – it turned out that “there was a much larger area to search.”
The PO spokesman for PO indicated that the machine “crashed over one kilometer long” and about “200 meters wide”. – What some items were found much further, because the strength of the aircraft was so large – says Prosecutor Skiba.
