UEFA sharply punished Legia Warsaw! A brutal sentence was passed

The UEFA control, ethics and discipline committee (CEDB) punished Legia Warsaw for home matches in the conference league.
There are two penalties. One applies to the match of the 1/8 final with Molde FK, the second of the quarter -final skirmish from Chelsea. The first UEFA valued at 22,000 euros (blocking by fans to go at the stadium), the second, for it a lot more severely – as much as 100,000 euros.
UEFA punished Legia Warsaw. Over half a million zlotys and a closed stand!
I must admit that regularly punishment of the capital’s club is extremely expensive to the Legia budget. Looking at UEFA earlier decisions, Warsaw representatives appear regularly on the side of the punished ones – mainly for the behavior of their fans, during matches in European cups.
“The Commission decided to order the suspended disciplinary agent imposed on October 16, 2024, the use of pyrotechnics, i.e. order partial closing of the stadium (the entire North Tribune) during the next home match in UEFA competition Northern. Execution of partial closure of the stadium for the second additional match was suspended for two years.
In total, it is a penalty of over PLN 520,000 for the Warsaw club from the European headquarters.
Let us remind you that Legia reached the quarter -finals of the conference league, as did Jagiellonia Białystok. In both cases, Polish teams, however, fell off the games, although – you have to give away – with their heads raised.
Polish champions from Bialystok drew in a rematch with Betis 1: 1. Jagiellonia was hardly missing to pour the blood of the opponent from Lalig more. Legia won in London with Chelsea 2: 1. In addition to victory on the pitch, local fans were shocked by how the fans of the visitors presented themselves. The Warsaw sector was by far the loudest at the famous Stamford Bridge stadium.
