Triathlon and Parratriathlon of the Bug 2025 Land is behind us! The Janów Podlaski castle has again become an arena of sport, integration and social solidarity!

On Saturday, August 30, 2025, the picturesque area of the Janów Podlaski Castle was teeming with life due to the unique event, which was the eighth edition of the charity triathlon and the post -parish -parish reference of the Bug Land. The event has once again proved that sport can be not only a competition but above all an tool of integration and real social support.

Sports holiday with a mission

The competition took place under the honorary patronage of the outstanding figures of Polish sport: Lidia Chojecka – a world -class athlete, running specialist at medium and long distances, Czesław Lang – cycling legend, Olympic runner -up, Tour de Pologne organizer and Jarosław Kailing, known more broadly as “Cręga” rowing.

However, the Triathlon of the Bug Land is much more than traditional competitions. An event that is guided by the slogan: “Arche connects people” promotes the values of cooperation, mutual understanding and equality. Both experienced athletes and amateurs, people with disabilities, families, colleagues and friends meet on the route, creating a unique community together.

Triathlon is a team sport and we treat it in the Arche group literally. This is not about results or medals. What counts is the joint effort, presence and energy that we create together– Event Manager, Dorota Wereszczyńska.

Cooperation relay

The competition had a relay formula, which was conducive to cooperation and building bonds. Each team consisted of three to a maximum of four players. One of the participants was responsible for the run, a maximum of two people together defeated the water section in the kayak, and another member of the team set off on a bicycle route. This approach allowed people to participate in competitions with different physical possibilities and various sports experience. This year, several dozen teams stood at the start among players, there were people with disabilities, which further emphasized the integration nature of the event.

A running zone for the youngest was also prepared, who took part in sports competition in large numbers.

Every child who stood at the start received a diploma, gifts from our partners and a beautiful commemorative medal made by the employees of the Lena Grochowska Foundation. We wanted to show that it is not about the result and winning, but fun, overcoming the route and reaching the finish line. Every child was won for us!– Dorota Wereszczyńska.

A community that helps

Triathlon of the Bug Land is also an event with a deep social dimension. Thanks to the involvement of participants and the support of sponsors, financial resources were collected for the Lena Grochowska Foundation. This year’s edition will therefore enable the creation of new jobs for people at risk of social exclusion, which are the foundation of the foundation.

We don’t mean the podium but about man – emphasized, after the competition, Aneta Żochowska, director of the Lena Grochowska Foundation.

– Triathlon and Parratriathlon of the Bug Land are energy, cooperation, integration and real help. We met on August 30, 2025 in Janów Podlaski and again showed that we can do more together! The eighth edition of the triathlon and the Parishlon of the Bug Land is another proof that it is through sport that you can build mutual ties the most. The success of the event measured is not sometimes at the finish line, but the number of smiles, handshakes and the moments spent together. Many participants come back to stand at the start for another year in a row. Many declare their willingness to return next year.

Triathlon and Parratriathlon Land of Bug is not only beautiful nature and sports emotions. They are primarily people who share a common goal of doing good.

Finally, it is worth mentioning those who received medals last weekend and with great energy, joy and motivation for further actions accepted congratulations from the hands of the president of the Arche SA group himself – Mr. Władysław Grochowski, as well as the director of the Lena Grochowska Foundation – Mrs. Aneta Żochowska.
