Many have been waiting for the connection of PKP from Poland to Croatia for years. Now the idea is finally realized. It is known when exactly we will set off and how the route will go.

PKP Intercity provides detailed information about the new connection over the Adriatics. As Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced and assured and assured, tourists will go from Warsaw to Rijeka, which is one of the coastal cities located in the northwestern part of Croatia. The route will run through as many as 5 countries, which will give travelers many new opportunities to discover the world. A route from Poland to Croatia

The date is finally sure. The first train from Warsaw to Rijeka will start June 27. The machines will run to Croatia throughout the holiday season. The last time they will leave Warsaw on August 29, and from Rijeka on August 31. The journey in Poland will start a few minutes after 14:00.

The route has been strictly established and is to run as follows. After leaving Warsaw, the train will stop in Opoczno and Włoszczów, and then in Zawiercie, Dąbrowa Górnicza, Sosnowiec, Katowice, Tychy, Rybnik, Wodzisław Śląski, and Chałupki.

This is a real treat for those who want to stay there for longer.

We will reach Rijeka itself in Croatia at moments after 9:00. Although the route will be long – one of the longest in Europe, of 1240 km, is satisfying and interesting. One thing is certain, you need to be patient while driving.

Frequent connections, cheap tickets

According to information provided by PKP Intercity, tourists from Poland will be able to travel by train to Croatia up to 4 times a week – on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. Not only classic wagons and compartments will have at their disposal, but also couches with places for lying down. There will be air conditioning or a restaurant wagon. There will be places on board for 172 people.

Speaking of ticket prices, then from the announcement of the President of PKP Intercity Janusz Malinowski shows that The cheapest ticket will cost PLN 193, while you will have to pay PLN 301 for the cheapest couchette.
