Tragic death of a WOT soldier. He died during training

The Territorial Defense Forces delivered sad news. In a message posted on Sunday, September 28 on social media, it was announced that: death of a soldier of the 3rd Podkarpacka Territorial Defense Brigade.

“We share in the pain and express our sincere condolences to the family, loved ones and colleagues from the unit,” it was written.

As it turned out, the deceased was 34-year-old Grzegorz Stec. The soldier served in the 4th Jasielski Company of the 33rd Light Infantry Battalion in Dębica in Podkarpacie. For many years he also played for the WKS Rędzinianka Wojaszówka club.

It is with great sadness that we received the news of the death of Grzegorz Stec – a student and long-time player of our club. Grzegorz represented Rędzinianka for many years, leaving a permanent mark in the history and memory of all who had the opportunity to play, train and cooperate with him,” we read in the information published by the club.

“We express our sincere condolences and encouragement to the family and loved ones in these difficult times. The memory of Grzegorz will remain in our hearts forever. The management, players and supporters of Rędzinianka” – added.

A WOT soldier is dead. He died during training

According to local media information, Grzegorz Stec died during WOT rotational trainingwhich is currently ongoing in the area of ​​Kołaczyce near Jasło. The 34-year-old was supposed to feel bad and be admitted to the Specialist Hospital in Jasło at night.

The causes of the soldier’s death have not been revealed yet. The Jasło police and army are investigating the circumstances of the tragedy. At the moment it is only stated that the death had no connection with the training run by the Territorial Defense Forces.
