Ryanair announced its return to full operations in Jordan. The winter flight schedule also includes routes from Poland.

The upcoming winter season means a return to the Jordanian market for Ryanair. On Wednesday, October 22, the Irish carrier announced the launch of eighteen routes that will connect this Middle Eastern country with twelve European Union countries, including Poland. Until recently, the future of this direction remained uncertain. Alicja Wójcik-Gołębiowska indicated her intention to re-include Jordan in Ryanair’s offer in August in an interview for “Wprost”.

Ryanair returns to Jordan in winter

The tense situation in the Middle East has caused many carriers to decide to suspend flights not only to Israel, but also to Jordan, which borders it. Now, after a long break, Ryanair has announced its return to the local market. “With 84 flights a week on 18 routes to 12 European countries, such as Austria, Belgium, France, Germany and Spain, Ryanair’s investment will position Jordan as a key tourist destination this winter,” we read in the information provided by the carrier’s press office. This is a record flight schedule – Amman did not have so many connections even in pre-crisis times. According to the airline’s plan, in the future the number of connections from Amman, Mark’s airport and Aqaba will increase to fifty.

Flights from Poland to Jordan

From October 26, we will fly to Amman from Krakow. Afternoon connections will be provided twice a week, every Wednesday and Sunday. We will reach the capital of Jordan from Poznań by a late evening flight at 23:05 every Monday, starting from October 27. The second flight will take place on Thursdays at 12:45.

In both cases, the flights will last approximately four hours. Tourists can therefore travel to the Middle East in a similar time to flights to the western end of Europe. In the south of the country, on the Gulf of Aqaba, temperatures can exceed 20 degrees Celsius in January.
