Tourists in this country will get it for free. Even in Ryanair and Wizz Air
Pleasant changes come in a well -known tourist country. Poles fly there, especially during the holiday season. Soon, their positive surprise will meet their planes.
The case concerns Turkey, which regularly is a bestseller among the directions offered by travel agencies. The authorities of this country took a firm step about passenger service standards during flights. Even such lines as budget Ryanair or Wizz Air will have to match. Tourists on board will receive water for free.
Türkiye will force changes at the airlines
The changes will affect every line flying over the Bosphorus, i.e. the strait connecting the Black Sea with the Marmara Sea, located between the Balkan Peninsula and Asia Minor and separating Europe from Asia. Travelers in such aircraft will have to receive free water with a minimum capacity of 200 ml. Although, according to many tourists, such a standard should function in many places, today you can not count on such facilities everywhere, especially if we travel with cheap lines.
The Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure is responsible for the new regulations. These are to be enforced next year. Every carrier must adapt to them – regardless of the business model or the length of the route, also Czarter carriers. Water is to be offered, among others To prevent the appearance of health problems.
“Especially in the summer months, when the ventilation of the cabin is insufficient, dehydration may appear in passengers, leading to a headache, loss of concentration or even more serious medical cases. By introducing new recipes, we strive to reduce health risk, but also to increase flight satisfaction” – explained Turkish Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu.
There will be free water on these routes
As Ryanair and Wizz Air do not fly directly from Poland to Turkey, tourists from Poland will notice changes, flying to this country with the Pegasus Airlines line – this years on the Bosphorus from Warsaw and Krakow.
Thanks to the new regulations, tourists from various countries will receive free water, flying to Turkey from Ryanair – to Dalaman and Bodrum or Wizz Air to Antalya, Dalaman and Istanbul. The changes will not bypass the Easyjet carrier, which usually takes travelers to Antalya, Dalaman, Istanbul, Bodrum and Izmir.
It is worth remembering that in some lines such as flight or Turkish Airlines, water can be obtained for free even now, because it is in their standard. So we won’t notice the difference.
When the changes come into force, we will have the opportunity to save up to a few euros – this is how much water at airports costs. Until now, in cheap lines you could not count on free water on any routes.
