The first passengers will board the vehicles on the May weekend, but the number of available trips will be limited. “The service is not a mass transport. It was designed primarily to increase the accessibility of the Tatra Mountains for people with disabilities, seniors and families with small children,” explains the Tatra National Park.

Buses from Zakopane to Włosienica for everyone

The above-mentioned people with disabilities, as well as their guardians, will benefit from free electric rides. The bus will go right to the PTTK shelter by the lake. “It is required to present a disability certificate or a disabled person’s ID card together with an identity document” – reminds Gazeta Krakowska.

However, tourists can take paid trips to Włosienica and Palenica Białczańska. The price for a one-way trip from Zakopane (upwards) is PLN 89. The return price is PLN 11 lower. The number of courses and places is limited – it is worth remembering this, especially when returning from the trail.
