Tourists don’t know it well yet. The Polish health resort will emerge from the shadows
One of the youngest Polish health resorts will undergo a major transformation. There are plans to revitalize the promenade and build a bicycle path.
Not only Szczawno-Zdrój will invest in the revitalization of green areas. This town in Małopolska has only been a health resort since 2022, but its attractiveness in the eyes of guests will soon increase.
They will build a promenade in Małopolska
The city and commune of Muszyna Spa will invest in “modernization of the existing promenade and construction of a parallel bicycle path in zone A and B of Złockie Spa”.
“Along the promenade, architectural objects will be placed, such as low walls with pedestals marking the entrances to individual sanatorium facilities, a mineral water collection point (bowl with a tap) and benches, flower pots, bicycle racks and waste bins. Within the investment, one system toilet will also be built. The project envisages tidying up the existing greenery and supplementing it with new plantings of high and low greenery” – we read in the project description.
In an interview with “Gazeta Krakowska”, the mayor of Muszyna, Jan Golba, said that the promenade will have illuminated entrances and a bicycle path separated from the main promenade. Completion of all works is planned for August 2027.
Złockie. What kind of spa is this?
The new health resort in Złockie was formally established on June 21, 2022. There are numerous sources of mineral waters and a mild foothill climate, which create excellent conditions for relaxation, rehabilitation, treatment and mountain tourism. A unique treasure is located at the bottom of Złocki Potok, on the border of the village of Złockie – it is a mofeta from which gas is extracted from the deep layers of the earth’s crust. The area of this unique inanimate nature monument in the country will be revitalized in 2027.
Treatment and rehabilitation in Złock are carried out using natural resources – mud, mineral waters, medicinal salts. The climate in the spa area can be used to treat, among others, digestive system diseases, rheumatological diseases, upper and lower respiratory tract diseases, endocrine diseases, cardiological diseases, hypertension, nervous system diseases, gynecological diseases and obesity.
