Top 2024. The most beautiful places in Europe. It’s worth seeing them once in your life

We often look for inspiration for travel in articles and on social media. What if someone chose the most beautiful places in Europe for us? Here are 11 recommendations.
If you are planning to travel around Europe in 2025, a list of the 11 most beautiful places on the Old Continent may be helpful. This text was one of the most frequently read on the Travels “Wprost” website in 2024.
Porto, Portugal
The Conde Nast journalist recommended visiting Porto, where you can both explore the city intensively and spend a lazy afternoon with a glass of wine. Last year was a record year in Portugal in terms of tourism revenues, and the country’s second largest city certainly contributed to this. We can use public transport to reach the nearby beaches.
Venice Simplon-Orient Express
A six-day train journey from Istanbul, with stops in Bucharest and Budapest, is a perfect option for people who want to combine seeing several places in one go. The atmosphere like from the movie “Grand Budapest Hotel” will allow you to experience a bit of luxury.
Lake Garda
The magazine called this stunning lake “a laid-back version of Lake Como.” It is the largest and cleanest lake in Italy, surrounded by mountain peaks. The views are spectacular, and on the south shore you can relax on the beaches. There are also plenty of attractions for lovers of active recreation – mountain climbing, trekking and water sports.
Pamukkale, Türkiye
This attraction in Turkey needs no introduction. The town is known for the limestone deposits formed on the slope of Mount Cökelez. “Pamukkale’s famous hot springs release mineral-rich water onto the landscape, creating stunning white terraces,” the magazine praised.
Unknown places of Greece
Conde Nast also recommended lesser-known Greek islands. “I would visit Sifnos for the great Greek holidays, Hydra for the art scene, Milos for beaches and Skopelosto take a look at the church from the movie “Mamma Mia!” right by the sea,” wrote his journalist. From 2025, Poles will also be able to fly directly from Radom to the city of Preveza, which has one of the most beautiful sandy beaches in Greece.
Positano, Italy
The famous colorful houses on a hill are a dream destination in southern Italy for many people. Positano on the Amalfi Coast is a travel destination for many Instagrammers. But be careful – there are a lot of stairs here, and the road to the desired views by car is winding.
Cliffs of Moher Ireland
Easily accessible to Poles, the beautiful Cliffs of Moher in Ireland are something for fans of “coolcation”, relaxation without the heat. They are one of Ireland’s main tourist attractions.
The editors of Conde Nast also distinguished on their list, among others: undiscovered islands of Croatia. We recommend Paulina Kopeć’s text about sandy beaches in this country.
