More and more sanatoriums in Poland are accepting a stay in the company of pets. However, not all centers are prepared for this, so it is worth checking the conditions and rules of arrival with the animal in advance.

Sanatoriums in popular spa towns, such as Kołobrzeg, Polanica-Zdrój, Świeradów-Zdrój and Ustroń, also receive guests with animals. If you are planning a stay in a sanatorium with a dog or a cat, remember a few important issues:

• Reservation – always inform the sanatorium in advance about the arrival with the animal, because the number of places adapted to such a stay is limited,

• Documents – Take the current animal’s health book with confirmation of vaccinations, especially against rabies,

• Equipment – provide the animal with his lair, bowls, leash, muzzle and supply of your favorite karma,

• Fees – in many centers there is an additional fee for the pet’s stay, usually from 20 to 120 PLN per night. Some sanatoriums also collect a return deposit,

• Rules of the facility – check the rules on the presence of animals in rooms, restaurants and treatment zones.

The fee for staying with an animal is not the only one that the patient will learn just after arrival. The popular opinion says that he is not paying with the doctor for anything in the sanatorium.
