Talinn (also written as Tallinn in Polish) is becoming more and more noticeable on the tourist map of Europe. And not only during the holiday season, when the medieval center attracts with its decorations, and local restaurants and fairs tempt with hot dishes. Thanks to Tallinn’s mild climate, it also gains crowds of fans in spring and summer.

This is the best time to discover both the UNESCO-listed Old Town and the modern districts of the city considered one of the most important IT centers in Europe. Tallinn is surprisingly green (the title of Green Capital of Europe in 2023 was awarded to it by the European Commission), and Snelli Park, located in the very center of the city, is one of its most important attractions.

Poles are visiting Tallinn more and more often

In both Estonia and Tallinn, the main country of origin of accommodated foreign tourists is Finland. “In 2025, their share was 33% in Estonia and 32% in Tallinn,” we read in the report published on the Visit Tallinn website. Apart from Finland, tourists come and go in large numbers from Latvia, Germany and Great Britain. Compared to previous years, the Russians disappeared from the top. There are no Poles among the ten main nationalities.
