Polish seniors are constantly looking for interesting health resorts for themselves or their loved ones. It is worth attention, among others: Polanica-Zdrój. Although we are talking about areas in Lower Silesia, they are not endangered at all and look beautiful.
There are an exceptionally large number of health resorts in Poland. It is not easy to choose one of over 200, and in each town we can count on a wide selection of sanatoriums and medical facilities. For several weeks, many well-known locations have been facing problems and declines in reservations – this is the case, among others, in Polanica-Zdrój. Although the areas did not suffer from flooding, some people have stopped appreciating them or are afraid to come. Why is it not worth giving up?
Polanica-Zdrój Spa. It’s atmospheric
Polanica-Zdrój is a unique health resort located in the western part of the Kłodzko Valley, at an altitude of approximately 380 m above sea level, at the mouth of the Piekielna Valley. The area includes, among others: the peak of Wolarz or Kamienna Góra. There is no shortage of forests and greenery. Not only the views are impressive, but also the facilities themselves, which are ideally suited to, among others: to a safe life for seniors.
Guests spending time on site use three types of mineral and medicinal waters: Wielka Pieniawa, Staropolanka and Staropolanka 2000. There are also swimming pools, SPAs and a salt cave. People with cardiac and gastrointestinal diseases benefit especially. Great emphasis is placed on diseases of the peripheral vessels, the digestive system and hypertension.
Your stay will be successful not only because of access to numerous treatments and recreational services, but also thanks to easy access to city attractions. Hits include: a colorful fountain located close to one of the sanatoriums, a promenade, an avenue of basketball stars, a tourist train and a bear sculpture.
Sanatoriums in Polanica-Zdrój
There are many medical facilities in the Polanica-Zdrój health resort. It is known that there are currently approximately 600 places for guests. Wielka Pieniawa, which has existed for over 100 years, has been of particular interest for years. Visitors associate it with elegance and luxury. It is located right next to the park and offers comfortable and modern rooms.
A more intimate, but also charming facility is Mała Pieniawa, which houses, among others, Finnish sauna. It is also close to the SPA & Wellness section of the previous resort. Additionally, local hits include Sanatorium Zdrowie, Sanatorium Carmen, Korab or Szarotka, Stary Zdrój and Nowy Zdrój.
