“We are waiting for tourists at the Karpacz station! It is always better to get to us by a luxury train of Lower Silesian Railways than by car. The more that the route from Jelenia Góra to Karpacz is one of the most beautiful in the country. We hope that the railway will solve our problems with a congested city. After all, crowds of guests visit us,” he said.
“This is a symbolic opening of a new chapter in the development of rail transport in our region. We rebuild subsequent lines, restore the railway to places where it was once everyday, we fight communication exclusion and prove that Lower Silesia is an infrastructure heart of Poland – Paweł Gancarz, Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, said on the occasion of the new chapter in railways.
Ticket prices from Jelenia Góra
The journey from Jelenia Góra to Karpacz lasts 18 minutes. Historic wagons take place at: 9:30, 11:30, 13:30, 15:30 and 17:30. Normal ticket prices start from PLN 9.80. It is worth adding that in historical wagons the transport of bicycles, prams and wheelchairs is limited.
Only 200 meters from the station building is the nearest bus stop, which will facilitate the planning of the sightseeing.
