This park is to be bigger than Energylandia. Construction of the first attraction soon
We have seen the first visualizations of the amusement park that is being built in Łutynówek. The mayor of Olsztyn, Andrzej Abako, has revealed new details.
We first heard about plans to build an amusement park in Łutynówek (Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship) in 2022, and media leaks immediately caused a sensation. The investor – Grupa Ptak, which already owns the Mandorla park in Rzgów near Łódź, has begun implementing an ambitious plan. The amusement park is to be the largest in Poland and attract up to a million guests per year.
“Gazeta Wyborcza” wrote that the park is to have free-standing and roofed structures. One of the main attractions will be a free-fall tower from a height of 150 meters.
Amusement park in Łutynówek. What is known at this moment?
Now we have more details. “Twój Kurier Olsztyński” showed plans for the first attractions, including the graphic design of the rollercoaster.
It is to provide “five minutes of intense ride with dynamic speed changes, overloads and a sense of weightlessness”, and the attraction will be built by Village Sp. z o. o. from Rzgów. The local portal reports that this is the first stage of the project. It is not known exactly when construction will begin, but the first ride is planned for spring 2025.
“We are waiting for information from the investor regarding the physical commencement of work and I hope that together we will dig in the first shovel. And for the first ride on “our” rollercoaster, which I hope will take place in the spring of next year,” said Andrzej Abako, the starosta of Olsztyn, to the eska.pl portal.
Additionally, the park will also feature a family zone with water slides and beaches with deckchairs.
The residents who spoke to TVP3 about the project two years ago had some concerns about noise. However, most were positive about the investment, which could revitalize the region. Łutynówko is located near expressways, and a railway line runs nearby. Therefore, the investor is counting on a lot of interest in the local attraction.
To date, the largest amusement park in our country remains Energylandia in Zator. There are 133 attractions located on 74 hectares.
