This office has suspended tours until the end of March. Poles have reservations
Oman, Dubai, Jordan – these are just some of the places that are now not safe for tourists. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been advising against any travel to the Middle East for several days, and the offices are still updating information about canceled trips. We know Rainbow’s decision.
Information about canceled trips was provided by Itaka, EXIM tours and other tour operators. Rainbow also shared important news on March 3, but ultimately made a more restrictive decision than at the beginning. According to the office’s latest Facebook post, it’s the closest one trips to Oman, Jordan and Dubai have been canceled until the end of March 2026. Some Internet users, including customers, point out inaccuracies and ask about journeys with transfers.
Rainbow cancels tours
Rainbow has decided to cancel trips due to the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East that has been ongoing for several days. Since February 28, significant changes in air traffic in the region have been visible, and the safety of travelers is threatened by numerous explosions – the US and Israeli attack on Iran and retaliations. Many Poles are stuck in countries suffering the effects of the war, some managed to return home, and some are still waiting for rescue and repatriation planes.
“The most important issue for us remains the safety of our tourists,” assures Rainbow in its latest announcement.
Information about canceled trips to Oman and other at-risk destinations is provided to customers directly. Those who have lost their holidays will also be instructed on what to do next. At the beginning of the week, a representative of the office assured that in such situations it is possible to apply for a refund or exchange the trip for another one. Rainbow also reminded that it may initiate refund procedures from the Tourist Aid Fund. “We are waiting for the official decision on this matter,” we read. The information may be announced on March 5.
At the same time, Rainbow assures that there are currently no tourists in Jordan and Oman, and a total of 730 people have been brought to the country. Returns are also being organized for others who are stuck.
Internet users comment on Rainbow’s decision
There were almost 300 comments under Rainbow’s latest announcement shared on Facebook. Poles expressed their opinion and were satisfied with the appropriate operation of the office, but there were also those who pointed out inaccuracies and asked what about trips that have a stopover in Dubai or Oman.
Comments suggested that transfer tours are still available. “When will you start canceling trips with transfers in Dubai? I’m flying on March 14 (India and Nepal) and we still don’t know anything”, “My trip for next week (via Dubai) is unfortunately not canceled”, “I have a trip on Saturday, Mauritius with a transfer in Dubai and no information.” – these are just some of many comments. We are waiting for further Rainbow announcements.
