This is the favorite city of Poles in Croatia. Wizz Air will fly there in the summer
On June 9, 2026, Wizz Air will launch a route from Poland to Zadar. We will fly to the charming city in Croatia four times a week.
The new Warsaw-Chopin Airport-Zadar route will start on June 9, 2026 and will be operated four times a week in the summer season. Tickets are now available on the carrier’s website and app, starting from PLN 159 one-way. The system shows that Hungarian airlines will operate connections on this route until September 19.
Zadar. A good destination for the summer
Zadar is not a typical resort with a row of huge all-inclusive hotels by the sea. This is one of the most unique seaside destinations in Croatia – history, culture and the Mediterranean climate create a more intimate atmosphere here. Data from the Croatian Tourist Board show that it was the most frequently visited city among Poles traveling to Croatia. The high availability of air connections with Poland (Ryanair and LOT) played an important role, and there will be more of them this summer.
The city delights with its charming old town, Roman and Venetian monuments and a lively waterfront with two iconic installations: Sea Organ and Greeting to the Sun. Visitors can see, among others: church of st. Donat, the Roman Forum and the Cathedral of St. Anastazja, and at the same time enjoy local cuisine, fresh seafood and a wide range of restaurants and cafes. Thanks to convenient access to nearby islands, national parks and Adriatic beaches, Zadar is perfect for both a short city break and a longer summer vacation.
Wizz Air’s new operating port
Wizz Air emphasizes that launching a connection to Zadar is an important step – it joins the carrier’s network as a new operating port. “This confirms the airline’s long-term commitment to developing its operations in Central and Southern Europe, and at the same time strengthens its presence on the Polish market by expanding the offer of affordable travel and increasing the availability of connections for passengers from Warsaw and the surrounding area,” we read in the release.
