However, cheap accommodation is not the only reason for arrival at the coast at this time of year. It is in winter, after storms, it is best to look for amber beaches. “You will not come back with empty -handed from the walk,” writes the owner of summer houses in Kąty Rybackie near Krynica Morska.

Recent storms discovered a real treasure of the Baltic. The sea waves had no mercy for several important tourist attractions, but they brought golden amber to the beaches. Despite the cold, gusty wind, walkers gathered in groups to look for precious “sunny stones” together. Some were equipped with special instruments, others were enough to collect amber with their hands. Pomeranians and residents of other parts of Poland, who went to the sea in January, willingly shared their gains on the web, encouraging the search for Internet users themselves.

Will “Amber Tourism” become a new trend? Some tourists will definitely be interested in the possibility of free gifts of land for which you have to pay a lot in the store. Amber rash is not the only reason to visit the Baltic Sea coast right after the storm. It is then that tourists have the greatest chance to see the underwater forest. For this buried relic of the past, Poles can come across two coastal towns – in Łazy in the Sianów commune, as well as in Pozkanie in the Słowiński National Park. Everyone who had the opportunity to see powerful trees sunk on the beach confirms how much the find is impressive. We will certainly not experience such attractions in the summer.
