This is one of the oldest lines in Europe. Now it tempts Poles with distant routes
One of the oldest airlines in Europe offers convenient connections to Japan and Thailand. Poles will also benefit from them.
Finnair is becoming more and more visible and recognizable in Poland. With an offer of 55 flights a week between Gdańsk, Warsaw and Krakow and Helsinki, the carrier offers tourists from our country the opportunity to travel and comfortably travel to Thailand beaches and to the largest cities of Japan. Customers of one of the oldest airlines in the world on board can count, among others on one of the most convenient seats currently available on the market.
Flights from Poland to Asia through Helsinki
Finnair Airlines are increasingly taking steps on the Vistula market. The Finnish carrier sees the potential for development in our country not only thanks to Poles revealing the charms of Helsinki and the Arctic Circle at the gates of the Arctic Circle Rovaniemi, but also because of a wide range of travelers looking for alternative routes to Asia and comfortable connections to the United States.
A flight from Warsaw to the capital of Finland lasts only ninety minutes, and from Gdańsk a little over two hours. – The airport in Helsinki is very friendly and is not too big. Everything is under one roof and thanks to this simplicity we are able to provide passengers in the range between 35 and 45 minutes – said Adam Marciniec, regional manager CEE & Global Otas Partnerships at Finnair at the Line conference in Warsaw.
On the Finnair decks, we can still fly directly, among others to Bangkok, on Phuket, Dubai, Shanghai, Seoul and Hong Kong, as well as to the most important cities of Japan – Tokyo, Osaki and Nagoya. A country of cherry blossoming one of the most important markets for the Finnish carrier, which began operations for this country in 1983 as the first line from Europe. Lines also offer connections to six cities in the United States, and from May next year to Toronto. When flying to countries outside the Schengen zone, travelers can benefit from exceptional airports salons – one of them, in a truly Finnish style, after prior reservation offers guests even access to the sauna.
55 connections from Poland a week
Connections to distant Asia are easy to match with flights from Poland to Helsinki, because the episodes are served several times a week at different hours. So from Warsaw travelers can get to the capital of Finland in the summer season up to four times a day, and flights are made from Krakow three times a day. In winter, there are fewer connections, but passengers can still maintain flexibility in travel planning.
The most convenient armchairs in Europe
Finnair offers travelers Economy, Premium Economy and Business class, in which passengers can count not only on the extended menu, but due to special armchairs, also on a completely different comfort of travel.
– We are the only airline that currently uses these seats. When we tilt them to a lying level, the support is not folded behind us. Passengers can therefore travel a very convenient way even these 13 or 14 hours in a lying or reclining position, depending on their preferences. Finnair has received many awards for this – this is one of the better products when it comes to business class in the field of European carriers – explains Adam Marciniec.
Rovaniemi and other Treasures of Finland
Helsinki are becoming an increasingly popular holiday destination among Poles looking for a time of respite from high temperatures. In a few months of the year, the eyes of tourists from all over Europe will also turn to Oulu, lying on the Batnica bay, which was chosen by the European Capital of Culture 2026. As Eloranta Mia, Communications Mennager in Finnair, the carrier is already planning to increase the availability of flights to this dynamically developing university city with great tourist potential. Poles cannot bypass Rovaniemi and the village of Santa Claus. In the winter season, even 70 connections are available from Helsinki to the far north of the country.
