This is how you can get funding for your holidays. Up to PLN 1,000 per child

Winter break 2025 is fast approaching. If you are wondering whether you are entitled to a special benefit on this occasion, this information will dispel any doubts.
Financing winter holidays can be very helpful, especially since prices in Poland are constantly rising and organizing a cheap trip to a beautiful place is not always easy. It turns out that some people can apply for additional money from the state and more. The LOTTO foundation also organized an interesting event.
Cheaper winter holidays. PLN 1,000 for whom?
The first winter break sessions start in Poland on January 20. This is the last moment to apply for additional money for travel and recreation. Children born between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2020 will benefit and receive PLN 1,000. Their parents who are insured in KRUS or receive pension and disability benefits from KRUS can apply for the funds. This is the Farmers’ Social Insurance Contribution Fund. Entities such as the National Council of Agricultural Chambers, the Tatra Chamber of Commerce and the Association of Professional Agriculture and Rural Areas “Regiony” organize special trips, and people entitled to funding can use them. Earlier, the Farmers’ Social Insurance Contribution Fund announced a competition in which, among others, the mentioned public benefit, social and professional organizations could apply for funding for the organization of these winter trips. In this case, you could get 8,000. zloty. Previously, the organizer had to meet appropriate conditions, including: provide the required number of accommodations or attractions.
LOTTO will pay even more for the holidays
Now there is talk about yet another aid operation. The LOTTO foundation is responsible for it. Halina Konopacka. She offered money for winter holidays as part of the “odLOTTOowe ferie 2025” competition. All this to support the organization of stationary camps. Those interested can apply for PLN 10,000 or even PLN 17,000. PLN, and the recruitment of applications is still ongoing. In this case, it is not about trips, but special activities organized during the holidays.
For example, schools that successfully qualify for the competition will receive money for the winter break. An organized stationary camp (without overnight stays) must meet certain conditions, including: last 5 days, have at least ten participants and at least 5 hours of leisure and recreational activities.
