This is how Trump can affect the Polish economy. “It will be from euphoria to despair”

We have the end of January, so someone may recognize that this year’s economic forecasts are a little late. But we delayed this publication intentionally until Donald Trump was sworn in, because together with the new US president, all previous scenarios are losing its news.
End of green order, end of wars, end of censorship, end of crime, end of bureaucracy, end of inflation. This is how Donald Trump’s Monday speech can be summarized as the 47th President of the United States of America.
You can see that after a four -year break from office, Trump is better prepared this time. He signed a dozen or so ordinances at the start. He recognized drug cartels as terrorist organizations. He announced a state of emergency on the border with Mexico. He pardoned the convicts for the assault on the Capitol. He changed the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the American Bay. A ban on Chinese Tiktoka in the USA two months.
– Even before its swearing in, the markets were glad that Trump would not immediately introduce powerful duties to products from China or the European Union. So the dollar weakened. But shortly after sworn in, he had already announced. So the dollar strengthened. These two events were only a few hours. From euphoria to despair. And so this world will look now – says analyst Piotr Kuczyński.
The most important question remains: how the presidency of Trump will affect Europe and our country.
In this context, we asked the leading Polish economists and industry experts about forecasts for 2025.
