The Polish national team in football is not an easy year. Poles did not go through the group phase of Euro 2024, although let’s say that in a heavily staffed quartet. Poland’s group rivals were: the Netherlands, Austria and France. Interestingly, it was with the last, runners -up in the world that Poles managed to score any point. It ended with a 1: 1 draw, which was ultimately only a pinch of optimism to say goodbye to ME.

It was even worse during the UEFA League of Nations. Poland made the degradation from the A. Division of A. What awaits the supporters of the Polish national team in 2025? The most important will be the eliminations for the 2026 World Cup, which Poles start with March matches. We asked in a survey, which for “Wprost” was conducted by the SW Research agency, for moods, before the start of the competition for a place for the World Cup. Unfortunately, there is no optimism in the nation. Slightly over 50 percent believe that Poland will not be able to advance to the World Cup 2026. “Yes” in the context of winning a pass for next year’s event by Poles is less than 30 percent.
