According to a study conducted for Santander Consumer Bank’s report “Poles’ own wallet: spending season”, in the spring and summer season 39 percent Poles are planning renovation or major work at home, and 22 percent respondents consider this possibility. 44 percent respondents have no such plans this year, and 11 percent postpones changes until later months.
The respondents who plan or are considering renovations in spring and summer are dominated by 50-year-olds and residents of small towns (51% and 43%, respectively).
The study shows that Poles focus primarily on smaller works – painting walls, new accessories or plants cost relatively little and can still bring good results.

Poles want to spend mainly their savings on renovations.
