This year we cannot count on success for ski jumpers (possibly in duet competitions). However, we have a real chance for a few medals. One of the main favorites is our leading speed skater Damian Żurek. Wladimir Semirunnij, Natalia Maliszewska, and Aleksandra Król-Walas may also return with the puck. In total, our team for the Olympic Games in Italy this year has 60 athletes who compete in 12 different disciplines.

There is no doubt that winning a medal is the culmination of a sports career and ensures one’s place in history. However, the financial aspect is also important. What kind of money will medalists be able to count on? Details of the prize system were announced by the Polish Olympic Committee (POC).

The real hit, however, is the two-room apartment that the gold medalist will receive from the Polish Olympic Committee and the developer’s sponsor Profbud. It will be located in the City of Polish Olympic Champions (Robert Lewandowski is also collaborating on the project), which is being built in the immediate vicinity of the Ursynów district of Warsaw, at Puławska Street, in the Lesznowola commune, approximately 2 km from the Kabacki Forest. According to Business Insider Polska, the market price of the property may range from approx. PLN 800,000. PLN to even one million PLN, depending on the area, which, however, is not specified.
