This hit of Małopolska attracts crowds of tourists. Even three hours in a queue
Even nearly three thousand tourists entered a new tourist attraction in one day – an observation tower in Małopolska.
Recently, a new observation tower was opened on the Łysula peak in the Low Beskids. A visit to the Łysula peak (551 meters above sea level) in Dominikowice in the Lesser Poland province guarantees a beautiful view of the Beskids and even the Tatras. An additional attraction is a 25-meter slide. It turned out that the interest of tourists in this facility is so great that it exceeded even the expectations of officials.
The tower on Łysula is besieged by tourists
As reported by the Gorlice Nasze Miasto portal, the attraction is being stormed by crowds. On Sunday, August 4, the gate to the viewing terrace registered as many as 2,592 people. The queue to the tower was several dozen meters long, and the determined waited 2.5 hours to enter. The attraction is not ticketed, so it is no wonder that it is so popular. These photos of the queues of cars speak for themselves.
Crowds are probably also to be expected during the long weekend.
Booking portals show that Poles intend to take advantage of the nice weather and have flocked to the seaside and mountains for their holidays. Finding cheap accommodation between 15 and 18 August is almost impossible. The new attraction will certainly be no different and you will have to be patient to admire the view.
Directions to the attractions
The administrators of the Łysula profile warn to go to the right place.
“We inform you that after entering in GOOGLE: “Łysula observation tower”, the application gives the wrong access, i.e. from the direction of the town of Kryg, and that is also where you leave your car. To get to the green trail leading to the observation tower on Mount Łysula and to the dedicated parking lots, enter in the application: CAMPING SITE ŁYSULA” – we read in the entry.
Time will tell whether interest in the tower is so great because of its novelty or whether queues to get there will be a regular sight, as in the case of the bathing area in Zakrzówek. A maximum of 80 people can be on the tower at any one time.
