This attraction will connect generations. Miniature Warsaw will come to life

Kolejkowo

This attraction is already well known to the inhabitants of Wrocław and Gliwice. Next year you will be able to see the city in miniature in Warsaw.

Who among us doesn’t like to see the world in miniature sometimes? Visiting miniature parks or looking at models immediately takes us back to the world of childhood and triggers our imagination. Especially since it takes many years for even their native inhabitants to get to know entire metropolises.

Kolejkowo in Warsaw. A city in miniature

An attraction will soon come to Warsaw that will allow you to take a closer look at the capital. In the first quarter of 2025, the Kolejkowo exhibition will be opened. Currently, it can be seen in two Polish cities, Wrocław and Gliwice. Kolejkowo also has a Modelarnia in Jelenia Góra.

Running trains, cars, trams, floating ships, interactive scenes, real rain – this is how you can briefly describe what awaits guests of Kolejkowo.

The small capital will come to life

Also this time, the creators wanted to revive a static model with miniatures of famous locations and create an interactive exhibition. Thanks to mapping (i.e. lighting selected elements of the object), the Vistula will flow and the scenes will be filled with the sounds of the capital.

This is an attraction for children and adults – the youngest will be able to observe the street traffic, trains and trams, and their peers having fun. Busy adults will look at the city from a new perspective and notice details that are often overlooked on a daily basis.

“Warsaw is a colorful and diverse city that we wanted to fully reflect,” said one of Kolejkowo’s modellers. “We work on every detail, from architecture to everyday scenes, to make guests feel like strollers in the capital, observing its nooks and crannies and the lives of its inhabitants,” he added. At the exhibition we will see famous places, from Prague with the bazaar on Różycki Square, through the boulevards on the Vistula River, to Castle Square with the Sigismund’s Column.

Kolejkowo in Warsaw is being built in Warsaw Towers at ul. Sienna 39. The place is well connected. Trams, buses and the metro go here. There is a good chance that not only Warsaw residents will be interested in the attraction, but also guests from other cities who are just getting to know the capital.

It is not yet known how much the tickets will cost, but prices in other locations are not very high. Depending on the date, regular tickets can be purchased from PLN 30, and reduced-price tickets from PLN 25. Discounts are available for children, students and seniors.

It is worth mentioning that in Warsaw there was a Park of Miniatures of the Masovian Voivodeship presenting the pre-war buildings of the capital. It changed its location many times. Unfortunately, unique building models displayed on a private plot became the target of vandals. In 2022, the exhibition was devastated. The miniatures were spray-painted, their roofs were torn off and their windows were broken. “There were various proposals, but in fact the city does not have an area that would be suitable and would meet the expectations as a target for this project,” Monika Beuth-Lutyk, spokeswoman for the capital city, told TVN Warszawa. Warsaw.
