This application must be submitted by November 30. Otherwise, PLN 300 will be lost
People who have not yet submitted an application for 300 plus have only less than a month to do so. So far, almost PLN 1.5 billion has been paid out under this year’s edition of the “Dobry Start” program.
In July this year The eighth edition of the “Dobry Start” program was launched. It assumes the granting of a benefit of PLN 300 (hence its common name 300 plus) for a school layette. The benefit is granted to each child attending school aged 7 to 20, and if he or she has been diagnosed with a disability, up to the age of 24.
– Support is available once a year for a child studying at school until they turn 20 years old or – in the case of disabled children – 24 years old. Age is calculated on a yearly basis. This means that students of the last years of technical secondary schools and post-secondary schools are entitled to the benefit if they are 20 years old or 24 years old before the start of the school year – reminds the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS).
300 plus is not available for children attending kindergarten and children completing one-year kindergarten preparation in the so-called kindergarten or school. The program also does not cover students.
Last month to submit an application for 300 plus
According to the information provided by ZUS at the end of October, a total of almost PLN 1.4 billion has already been paid under this year’s edition of the “Dobry Start” program, and the number of submitted applications for 300 plus is over 4.7 million.
– We have already paid out nearly PLN 1.4 billion from the Good Start program for the purchase of starter kits in the 2025/2026 school year. Parents and guardians submitted applications for 300 plus for over 4.7 million children – we read in the institution’s announcement posted on the X platform.
ZUS reminds that applications for 300 plus can be submitted until November 30, which means there is less than a month left. Documents can only be submitted electronically via:
-
mZUS application,
-
Electronic Services Platform (PUE)/eZUS,
-
electronic banking,
-
Emp@tia portal.
A SW Research survey for “Wprost” conducted just before the start of this year’s school year shows that 47.4 percent Poles believe that 300 plus – just like 500 plus two years ago – should be valorized. Almost every third respondent (32.3%) has the opposite opinion, and 20.3%. has no opinion on this matter.
