This airport has the largest McDonald’s in Europe. Tourists will find more surprises here

In recent months, the airport in Majorca has passed through a thorough renovation. The renovated commercial zone is already waiting for tourists, and the next stage is the complete reconstruction of the fourth floor, where the safety control points and the observation deck were previously located. Not all tourists know that it is here, in the airport on the well -known Spanish island, is the largest McDonald’s in Europe. “Over the past few weeks, almost all commercial premises in the newly created part of the airport have already been opened,” says Majorca Daily Bulletin.

The first such modernization of the airport in 25 years

Majorca has been one of the most popular holiday tourist destinations for many years, especially among tourists from Germany and Great Britain. There are also Poles among foreign guests who can already check what a modernized airport in Palma looks like. Although the renovation has not yet completed, passengers will already benefit from the modernized gastronomy and service zone.

A new security control point was also put into use, which allows travelers to leave electronic devices and liquids in hand luggage during inspection. Soon this type of solution will also be available at airports in Poland.

The largest McDonald’s in Europe

At the airport in Majorca, passengers can also use the largest McDonald’s restaurant in Europe located at the P30 level. This place employs two hundred employees and has an area of a thousand square meters, where tourists will find as many as forty positions for placing orders.

“Renovation works enter the final phase, after months of difficulties, which were particularly felt for passengers,” reads. The completion of the project, considered the largest modernization in 25 years, is provided for next year.
