One of the world’s largest carriers has just entered the Guinness Book of Records. It was officially recognized that there is no airline in the world that operates in more countries. The Turkish carrier has 120 of them, 30 more than the second competitor on the list. Its offer also includes connections to Poland.
120 countries around the world all year round
Do you dream of traveling to a distant and unknown country? There is a good chance that you will get there thanks to Turkish Airlines. Turkey’s national carrier flies to 120 countries around the world, something no other airline has ever done before. Although it is said that the giant managed to achieve this in 2012, only now has this feat officially entered the Guinness Book of Records. “Today we celebrate a special moment for Turkish Airlines, whose unwavering commitment to connecting the world exemplifies vision and excellence in aviation,” said Talal Omar, vice president for the Middle East and North Africa and Turkey at Guinness World Records. Turkish Airlines flies to destinations such as Angola, Mauritania, Djibouti, Chille, Bangladesh and Tajikistan.
Turkish Airlines in Poland
Poland is also on the list of supported countries, although currently connections to only one city are available. Surprisingly, it is not the capital of our country. For now, the Turkish carrier flies to Istanbul seven times a week only from Krakow, although in the past the airline’s plans also included other Polish destinations. Our western neighbors can boast of significantly more flights with Turkish Airlines. Turkish airlines are present at eleven airports in Germany. Which countries does Turkish Airlines not fly to yet? This carrier is not available, for example, in New Zealand, Libya, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova and Lithuania.
