They were looking for a golden train. They came across the traces of the “guard”
Anonymous seekers launched the “Golden Train 2025” project. They drew the attention of all of Poland and reminded about the legend that evokes great emotions. Few remember that years ago, the wagons filled with valuable ore were looking for a passionate from Darłowo. His story is interesting and worth knowing for many.
A group of enthusiasts that announced the public that they know where the Golden Train was located quickly found themselves in the center of the Polish media attention. They claim that three wagons are located within the borders of the Książ Landscape Park, in the Wałbrzych commune (in Lower Silesia). The “ZP 2025” team has already received permission from the State Forests to start the first stage of work. Its members want to reach the tunnel, which is to be underground – for now, however, they can only use metal detectors in the place they indicate to remove all kinds of items made from the area of research. The O2.pl website has recently talked to one of the forest inspector, who reported that the topic is “suspended” – LP is waiting for the traffic from a group of seekers, which, before starting work, “must inform about it” the forest inspectorate.
The team, whose boss is an anonymous person, hiding under the initial “M”, was not the first when talking about the search for the legendary golden train. Earlier, a military lover and history enthusiast – Marian Laskowski dealt with this. Nearly three decades ago, together with other explorers, he went to the Sowie Mountains (Central Sudetes) – as the editorial office says Slawno.naszemiasto.pl. A resident of Darłowo (West Pomerania) revealed many details, also unknown to the expedition – including that he was to receive half a percent of the value of the treasure found.

Hungry for adventures in 1997 they allocated their private funds to be able to start searching in autumn. They had access to the excavator, they were equipped with impact hammers or a drilling room. They also ordered the geological research of the three locations they indicated.
When they finally went to Lower Silesia to traverse the nooks and crannies of the Owl Mountains, they eventually did not come across a golden train. However, they managed to determine something surprising – because the composition could have his “guard” – we read.
Laskowski does not regret that trip today – he recalls her as “amazing”. A well-known “in the environment” enthusiast still cares for his passion for history-today he runs the Military and Historical Museum in Malechów (Fort Marian).
