Newly born animals in the zoo always arouse sensation. There are even more emotions when it comes to a species that we find only in one city in Poland. Three packers appeared in Łódź at the same time.
They are cute, brown and look like small puppies. This is how you can describe the triplets of Pakożers, which are located in the Łódź zoo at the outset. Garden representatives boast of good news and show animal photos. We will not meet them in any other city in Poland. What is this species?

Pakożers are actually predatory mammals from the dog’s family. They are called forest dogs from South America. They have thick tails, charming mouths and small ears. Sometimes at first glance someone could confuse them with traditional quadrupeds. In the wild, this species lives in forests and in marsh areas. In addition, he likes rainforests and is always near water. They are not animals that we should keep at home and tame home -made pets.
Three Pakożers were born in Łódź on January 12, 2025, but only now can we see them. It is known that they are males, and their parents are an 8-year-old female tequila and an 8-year-old male chip. The couple had had offspring before, and now they focus all his attention again on the youngest family members.

A month after the birth of forest dogs, photos were published in which you can see how these are in the hands of ZOO employees. All in a characteristic brown color and small dark eyes. “The dogs were weighed and it turned out that they are growing correctly, each of them weighs less than a kilo. Pakożers are herd animals, so currently the whole family stays together, and older sister Olinda helps parents in the eruption of younger brothers. ” – we read in a Facebook post on the Zoo Łódź website.
Zoological garden employees also announced that the Pakożers feel best at higher temperatures, which means that we will see them only in spring live. This will be another reason to visit this place. The whole family can be admired on the catwalk. Internet users are looking forward to this show.
