A family from Pruszcz Gdański bought a house on credit. They insured the property, which is a reasonable move. One day the building stood on fire and the losses were estimated at PLN 800,000. There was a huge misfortune, but the marriage secured for the future. The amount that one of the companies decided to pay to the owners, however, causes laughter and tears.
A fire of one of the properties took place in Pruszcz Gdański in Pomerania. As the editors of “Notes!” Writes, the fire quickly digested the sequence of houses in a serial building. Among them was the building, which is owned by the people presented in the report. Losses after the fire are huge – reach 800 thousand. PLN
Due to the fact that the house was insured, the couple reported to the company they trusted to pay compensation. They made an appointment to see the fire and photographed the building. The family was waiting impatiently for the decision – the cost estimate was soon sent to them. There was an amount of approx. 130 thousand It is worth adding that the insurance was at 700 thousand. PLN
The owner of the house is depressed. He explains that the roof itself costs 80,000 – I feel cheated and tired. I am sorry – admits his spouse.
The amount of compensation? She was to soothe, caused tears
Ultimately, the marriage received a bit more, because 150,000 PLN – this is still not even a quarter of the value of the property. According to the insurance company, however, this is enough to restore the house to the state before the fire. Representatives of the entity believe that the need to carry out a renovation, for which the Poviat Eldership does not consent. The authorities are of the opinion that the building qualifies to be demolished.
What was the money for the insurance company for? For demolition and export of the debris resulting from the work.
