These people have no chance of widow. Will you be able to appeal?
ZUS informs that it has been prepared for the payment of a widow’s pension from July 1. The authority reminds who will be able to receive the benefit.
The Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) has published a message in which it informs that it has been prepared for the payment of a widow’s pension from July 1 this year, i.e. from tomorrow. They will take place: 1st, 6th, 10th, 15th, 20th and 25th day of the month.
The widow is combined benefits, e.g. 100 percent own benefits and 15 percent benefits of a deceased spouse or vice versa (so -called coincidence). Some of the authorized persons will receive a benefit from two institutions: from ZUS and from another pension authority. Such people will receive two payments in different dates in one month.
In July, ZUS will also start sending a decision on granting or refusing a widow. – However, these people will receive one decision – from this authority, which will pay 15 percent. benefits. The second institution will inform you about continuing the payment of the existing benefit in the amount of 100 percent. – informs ZUS.
Widow a pension. Who will receive, who has no chance?
In order for ZUS to pay the widow, the applicant should meet all the conditions:
-
A woman should be at least 60 years old, and a man at least 65 years old,
-
Until the day of the death of the spouse, remain with him in marriage,
-
acquire the right to a survivor’s pension after a deceased spouse no earlier than on the day of 55 years old by a woman, 60 years old by a man,
-
not to be married at present.
– ZUS will issue a decision in which he refuses to determine the intersection of benefits, if the widow or widower does not meet at least one of the indicated conditions or if the amount of at least one of the established services included in the intersection exceeds or is equal to the amount of the limit, i.e. three times the amount of the lowest pension – we read in the ZUS communication.
You will be able to appeal
The decision issued by ZUS regarding the Widowiej pension will be entitled to appeal to the District Court competent for the place of residence (Labor and Social Insurance Court). The appeal can be submitted via ZUS within a month from the date of delivery of the decision.
