The PiS candidate for prime minister harshly criticized KSeF. Przemysław Czarnek declared that after taking power it will not be obligatory for small companies.

During Saturday’s meeting in Konin, Law and Justice’s candidate for prime minister, Przemysław Czarnek, announced that if the party returns to power, KSeF will cease to be mandatory for small and medium-sized companies.

I solemnly vow: immediately after taking power, we will liquidate the KSeF, which is mandatory for small and medium-sized entrepreneurs. This is banditry – Czarnek said.

The politician also announced the simplification of the tax system and increased rigor for the largest companies.

The media reminds that KSeF was launched at the beginning of 2022, i.e. during the PiS government. According to the plan of the then government, initially it operated as a voluntary system, and in mid-2024 it was to be mandatory (except for small enterprises). A change in this respect was made by the new government.

Andrzej Domański, Minister of Finance and Economy, commented on Czarnek’s statement. – I think that these are the words that Mr. Czarnek will be even more ashamed of than his statement about renewable energy, the famous “RES-sroze”. Because the KSeF system already operates very effectively. Satisfaction with the system is growing – said the head of the Ministry of Finance and Economy, quoted by Money.pl.

Domański emphasized that PiS tried to introduce KSeF in an “absolutely ineffective” way and left its successors with “a landmine planted under the Polish economy.”

Let us remind you that KSeF is a system in which entrepreneurs issue, send and store electronic invoices. Initially, it covered the largest entities, and from April 1 this year. applies to companies with a turnover exceeding PLN 10,000. PLN per month. It is estimated that the new obligation may cover from 1.5 to 1.8 million taxpayers. The remaining entities will enter the system next year.

Data from the Ministry of Finance, quoted by Money.pl, show that currently over 345.7 thousand people use KSeF. enterprises. The number of issued documents exceeded 87.1 million.
