Poland will not be in the distribution of Korean Air airlines in the near future. The carrier gave the reason for his decision.

Korean Air, recognized this year by Airlineratings.com as the best airlines in the world, will not fly to Poland in the near future. Although the carrier has permission to make connections to our country, it does not want to use this option yet. The plaintiff is not particularly surprising. According to Business Insider Polska, the decision is dictated by the ongoing armed conflict behind our eastern border.

Korean Air gives up the Polish route

Poland, despite the announcement, will not be in the Korean Air carrier grid. Last year, Asian lines received a license for flights to Poland up to four times a week, but according to the announcement, it will not be possible to use it. Pursuant to the regulations, the connections must be launched within a year of issuing a concession that passes in May. Meanwhile, the representative of the carrier Kim Chae IK in an interview with Business Insider Polska reports that operational plans have not yet been finalized, and the validity of the Korean Air license in the European Union has been postponed because of the war in Ukraine.

Flights to Korea from Poland

The entrance of the Korean Air line to Poland was to give tourists another direct connection from Warsaw to Seoul, and thus, it is possible to reduce prices on this popular route. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like this will happen in the near future.

Tourists who already want to travel to distant Asia do not have to worry. LOT Polish airlines are still operating on this section. Direct connections between Poland and Korea are carried out every day and last 11 hours and 20 minutes. Cheaper tickets on this route can be granted on the occasion of cyclical promotions of the carrier. During the last “crazy Wednesday” ticket prices in two ways started from PLN 2199 per person in the economy class.
