There will be long lines for these attractions. Free November is coming
This campaign has been attracting great interest for years. As every year, visitors will enter royal residences in Poland for free.
In October, young people and seniors at PKP had the opportunity to travel for PLN 1, and in November, everyone, without exception, can visit the most important museums in Poland for free, as part of the Free November campaign financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
Free November 2025
Royal residences are always very popular in Warsaw – especially since entry to the Royal Castle costs from PLN 60 and a ticket to all exhibitions costs PLN 100. Throughout November, visitors will be able to view exhibitions in historic estates, explore their spaces and take part in educational activities. Each subsequent weekend will be devoted to a different one.
The Ministry of Culture and National Heritage presented the program:
-
November 8-9: Royal Castle in Warsaw,
-
November 15-16: Museum of King Jan III’s Palace in Wilanów,
-
November 22-23: Łazienki Królewskie Museum,
-
November 29-30: Wawel Royal Castle.
Royal Castle in Warsaw. Key moments of history
The special offer is scheduled for November 8-9. Due to the upcoming Independence Day, events in the Royal Castle will be dedicated to President Ignacy Mościcki, who lived there. It will also be an opportunity to present the Castle as an important residence – from princely, through royal, to presidential – where key moments of Polish history took place.
Additionally on November Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays The Tinplate Palace will also be open to the public for free – a historic building adjacent to the Royal Castle, which was the residence of Prince Józef Poniatowski at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries.
Entrance to the Wilanów Palace is free
The Museum of King Jan III’s Palace in Wilanów has prepared a big surprise. Throughout the month (except November 1 and Tuesdays) will offer guests free entry to the palace and park during museum opening hours. The ground floor of the palace will be made available, including the royal apartments, as well as the galleries and temporary exhibitions on the first floor.
We will enter the palace every day at 10.00–16.00 (last entry at 15.00); the palace is closed on Tuesday. Free admission also applies to the temporary exhibition “Sobieski and the Stuarts”. Entrance to the park: daily from 9.00–15.00 (entry until 15.00).
Free November also in Krakow
In November, the Wawel Royal Castle will make available to visitors free of charge the Representative Royal Chambers with the temporary exhibition “Abakanowicz. Without rules. Abakans and tapestries in the Senatorial Hall”, Turkish Tents (Castle II route), Lost Wawel and Lapidarium (Castle Underground route), Międzymorze and the temporary exhibition “Or maybe something else? Contemporary times at Wawel”. Free tours with an audio guide or guide will be valid on selected dates.
It is best to look for detailed information on the websites of selected facilities.
