There will be a new city with PlusLiga! The club from Ukraine has just announced this
Kraków, Wieluń, Tarnów, and now Elbląg. This is what the fate of the Barkkom volleyballers, all over Lviv, when it comes to admission in PlusLiga. Ahead of them the fourth season in Poland.
PlusLiga opened to a club from Lviv before the start of the 2022/23 season. Barkkom volleyballers, provided in Polish competitions, were to be successful opening longer cooperation related to teams from the East. Unfortunately, the reality turned out to be cruel, and in February 2022 a war broke out in Ukrainian areas, so it became clear that not in Lviv, but in Poland – he would act as a “host”.

As we mentioned, every season the club from Lviv changes its volleyball house. It began with Krakow (dry ponds), then Wieluń, and in the last season Tarnów. This is the last place, more associated with female volleyball at the highest level, but as you can see – PlusLiga also arrived there.
However, the time has come to change the location, and from Tarnów, all the beams, for its fourth season in Poland, will move to Elbląg. It was officially announced on Monday, i.e. on June 2, during a special press conference.
– We are extremely happy that we are in Elbląg and we want to strive all the time for our matches an amazing atmosphere, as in the other PlusLiga halls. Unfortunately, it came out in our lives so that we have to benefit from the hospitality of Polish cities, but I hope and I believe that Elbląg will remain our temporary home for longer and we will all have the benefits of this cooperation: from the club, through the city to the poviat – admitted Oleg Baran, president of the Barkom club allocated to Lviv.
It is worth adding that in the previous season in the last round the Barkkom Volleyballers secured their maintenance. In the match with a direct rival for being in PlusLiga, the team from Lviv beat and thus degraded to the base of PSG Stal Nysa.
Bogdanka Luk Lublin is the Polish champion. Wilfredo Leon stayed in the country!
The biggest winner of the 2024/25 season was undoubtedly the band Bogdanka Luk Lublin. The Lublin team reached for sensational, from the perspective of pre -season predictions, the Polish championship. The team from Lublin in the final beat Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie, winning a 3: 1 play-off series. It is worth adding that the club has reached for the trophy in international competitions. Speech about the success in the Challenge Cup final, which appears for the next year in the Polish display case. Bogdanka Luk triumphed in edition 2025, but the previous winner was the Warsaw project.
Bogdanka Luk apparently has an appetite for more and more. The Lubliners focused on stabilization after such a abundant season. The club decided to parish contracts with the entire core of the band from the “Golden Campaign”. Headed by Wilfredo Leon or Marcin Command. The shadow of Mikołaj Sawicki, also kept for the new season in Lublin.
