There is a new record for the catfish. How much did the fish weigh?
The record fish made the rod dance. How much did the catfish (I. furcatus) weigh?
A resident of Ravenswood went with his loved ones to the nearby river – Ohio. Tyler Harmon was focused on relaxation – he didn’t plan on fighting a battle with a big fish.
It happened differently – at one point a giant blue catfish (Ictalurus furcatus) took the bait.
How much did he weigh?
There is a new record
Immediately after catching the fish, Harmon put it on a scale, which showed a weight of 72.75 pounds (32.99 kilograms), Wired2Fish reported.
This is officially a new West Virginia state record!
